“Chez moi” was a space within me, the dreams and ambitions I carried within me.

“Chez moi” was knitted into your very identity; it coloured the way you viewed the world and the way the world viewed you.

This is from the book “The lost vintage” from Ann Mah.

When I read it, I feel kind of nostalgic. As if I need to be someplace other than where I am now. When I read these words, I imagine myself in a cosy, kind of busy coffee café on the sidewalk of Paris, with a warm cafe créme and croissants. I feel the romance and the beauty of the city around. My loved ones next to me, just absorbing the atmosphere.

Chez means home.

Home means:

• the place where one lives
• a place where something flourishes, is most typically found or from which it originate
• on which you focus your attention on

Home is where the heart is. Home is a space within yourself. The dreams and desires that are carried within you.

Within you lies infinite possibilities. All the possibilities of who you are is deeply embedded in your being.

When you pick up an acorn, it doesn’t think about being something else. In its DNA lies all the possibilities of being a giant oak tree which provides coolness on a warm and sunny day. This oak tree can tell stories of all the people who took shelter from it. It can tell stories of children who climbed it. It can tell stories of all the rain and sunshine and wind and everything else it is experienced. An acorn doesn’t want to be anything else than an oak tree.

Within you lies all the possibilities of being a source of wellness and wonder. Within you lies all the possibilities of love and light. Within you lies all the possibilities to make every dream and desire your reality.

Home, the place where you feel safe and comfortable.

Home, the place where you belong.

Home, the place where your heart is.
